40FT运输罐式集装箱罐体采用高品质隔热保温外壳并配备导热油管道系统，可以输入热油或蒸气加热沥青。配备沥青溢流管、防冒液呼吸阀、防老化顶置充氮阀、温度计、容量计和输出沥青的快速卸料阀及接耦。框架采用矩形结构钢材，质量轻强度大，适合于海路、公路、铁路的沥青中转运输。
